I am an actor, photographer, artist, and amateur filmmaker, inspired by curiosity and beauty in all their forms.

Film photography has changed how I see art. As an actor struggling to navigate personal creativity and control, I bought a Canon AE-1 in July 2017. I’d always loved taking photos, but with digital images I was stuck in a cycle of overthinking — snapping variations in rapid succession, chasing perfection, and never feeling present. Film forced me to slow down and commit, like drawing with a permanent marker. There was no instant feedback — just trust, intention, and presence. I now see every image as a shared moment — an intimate exchange between photographer and subject, with only light as our quiet witness.

I live with my husband in Brooklyn, New York.
